Veery (Catharus fuscescens) nest architecture and the use of alien plant parts: Veery (Catharus fuscescens) are Ne-arctic breeding forest songbirds that rely on the availability of forest floor leaf litter to construct nests.  We deconstructed veery nests (n=19) in order  to identify effects of the increasing presence of alien plant species on veery nest construction and success.
